Retail Therapy!

I had a good day yesterday. I’m not sure if you remember the girl I mentioned a while back, we had been friends for years and we’d started to drift apart. Well anyway we’re both trying to make an effort to be better people and we’ve been talking a lot lately, almost every day on the phone. And guess what? :O I asked her if she’d like to come shopping with me and she said yes and kept to it! (she usually stands me up, like I get ready then she suddenly can’t come) It was good to just have a nice girly day!

We didn’t go anywhere special just into town (our shopping centre isn’t that great btw). It was payday on Friday and I badly needed some new clothes seeing as my weight-gain plan has worked. I’m now a size 6/8 on the top and 8/10 on the bottom, last year size 6 clothes would literally hang off me. I bought some new jeans, jeggings, a cute studded top, a studded bag and some Clinique face products.

I spent way too much money, but I really don’t care… it felt good!!! I had subway for lunch which was ever so yummy. I usually rush around, buy what I want, then leave. It was nice to just relax and take my time, after all shopping is a very tiring sport. ;)

I haven’t been on much this weekend, it’s kinda nice to have a break from it all though. No pressure to update n all. Applications for Design Fiends are coming along nicely, I got more good feedback than I expected. Well I thought I’d just check in, hope you’ve all had a good weekend and stuff! Bye for now :)

That sounds great! I’m glad you are, it’s always better with close friends haha. Although I don’t what “girl days” are like, I know it’s fun being with your friends :)

I have no clue what clothes sizes are so I’m just going to pretend I do and cheer *cheers*!

I love the moment when you blow all the money and then realize “oops, should I really have spent all that?” and your always like, “oh wtf, who cares!” Hahaha, everyone’s done it :P I spent like $200 in one store on accident once :)

Oh design fiends! I can’t wait, haha, if there’s any preparation you need help with tell me. :) I can even help with a layout if you want, I’m kinda good at professional layouts, people say at least :P

Anyway, have a fun day :) (and a good one too!)

You are way skinnier than me, I just keep gaining weight :( size 12 sucks for me. I need to diet :( sitting at college all day doesn’t help lol.

I went up to London today but bought nothing really just a book on css and coding.

    Lisa.

I’m really bad at spending money; I feel like I’m wasting it and could be using it on better things XD

I’m happy to hear you had fun, though! :)

Yeah I did own Simply Unique. Wow, I remember you too :). It’s nice to see you still make amazing resources!

I’m glad you had a good day. I hate it when people stands me up in the last minute. I love subway!! It’s so yummy. I always rush around when I’m shopping too, ’cause whoever I’m with would always be like ‘I gotta go home’ and stuff.

The book is ok :) its the html, xhtml and css for dummies, it helps with coding company websites with a menu. Basicly stuff you probaly know. It helps with getting to to work for all browsers.

I will try the browser thing out and let you know if it works or not.

It has that top of the page thing it which I guess I didn’t know lol. Has a few little tricks in it. Cost me 20 pounds and its only 12 on amazon LOL.

Haha yea, hopefully I can pull if not, who cares? It was fun to write, and that’s what matters to me! :)

Thanks, fortunately I have some great friends that help me out, so people don’t usually pick on us. :P Hopefully in high school it is the same :)

OH gosh, I forgot, sorry, I’ll try and reply, haha, it’s still going to take me about another week because I have no tutorials right now, I’m STILL waiting to get a mic :/

Retail therapy is addicting! LOL. Though I kind of feel bad sometimes when I spend way too much of what I should. Define jeggings please? Jeans + leggings? Is that it?

Good to hear you had a good day with your friend. :) And it’s good that you’ve stopped drifting apart.

I wish I had a shopping centre in my own town, though. I don’t care how good it is, I just want a shopping centre in my town so I can go shopping more often than I do now, haha.
